How Carbon Capture Technology can reduce carbon dioxide emissions
Tutorial note: Light, ultraviolet and short wave infrared radiations from the Sun can penetrate the Earth's atmosphere and heat the surface. The hotter surface of the Earth then emits LONGER wavelength infrared radiation, which CANNOT penetrate the Earth's atmosphere and so becomes trapped, warming the atmosphere and causing the 'Greenhouse Effect'.
